Waterloo Regional Heritage Foundation

The charity is primary a grant making organization which supports heritage initiatives in waterloo region. Its primary purpose is to preserve and financially assist in the preservation of heritage landmarks historical buildings and other projects of historical significane to the region of waterloo. The waterloo regional heritage foundation (wrhf) awards three types of grands: (i) capital and property grands; (ii) project/event/research grants; and (iii) publication grants. The waterloo regional heritage foundation (wrhf) is primary a grant making organization. It receives funding from the region of waterloo. The region of waterloo decided to pause grant funding to the wrhf in 2022 2023 and 2024. The pause provides the wrhf the opportunity to review and evaluate how it fits with the region of waterloo council's strategic priorities.
