Waterloo Region 4-H Association

Waterloo 4-h operated 12 projects in 2024 with 126 members and 45 volunteers. We welcomed 28 new members and 8 new volunteers. We offer youth between the ages of 6 and 21 the opportunity to grow through leadership development programs both locally regionally and nationally. They practise skills such as communication parliamentary procedures media relations executive duties while learning a specific topic such as dairy beef sheep and veterinary science as well as sewing cooking and life skills. Our goal remains to teach effective meeting governance public speaking judging and critical thinking.
