Waterloo Lutheran Seminary

Waterloo lutheran seminary (wls) is accredited by the association of theological schools an international accrediting body. Its degree programs are accredited buy the ontario council of graduate studies. Wls offers an undergraduate degree program and several programs at the graduate level in theology. Some students are preparing for careers in spiritual care and counselling. They will go on to work as chaplains in hospitals prisons nursing homes and institutions or into private practice offering pastoral counselling to individuals couples and families. A third stream of students are already ordained clergy who are studying at a doctoral level to gain advanced education in their chosen speciality. It should be noted that wls changed its operating name to martin luther university college on june 23 2018.
