Our development team (which includes a backend developer frontend developer and a ux/ui designer) compleated the design and initial development of our online volunteer recruitment platform and complementry mobile application.for registered canadian charities and non-profit organizations this online platform currently enables organizations to registeran account create a profile page post their volunteer opportunities accept initial application from potential volunteers review potential volunteers' resumes and other information correspond with interested potential volunteers and accept them as a new volunteer or provide them additional application information or decline their application as a volunteer.people looking for volunteering opportunities can search the posted opportunities narrow their search by filtering theresults and commence the registration process through our platform.our director of volunteerism has been engaging with registered charities and non-profit organizations across canada to explore their needs and pain-points with regards to volunteer recruitment. In april 2022 we started doing group presentations (online) to introduce our platform and conduct a needs-assesment towards understanding how our platformshould evolve to meet their ongoing needs. Based on the information gathered we has also been writing sourcing and publishing informative best practice documents in our rescource and learning centre division of our platform to supportvolunteerism.
