Virden Music & Arts Festival

The virden music & arts festival is an annual event that provides performance and educational opportunities for students of the arts through competitive and non-competitive classes. The purpose of the organization is to promote and encourage the arts in virden and the surroudning community. A wide range of disciplines are provided including dance visual arts speech/drama piano band/instrumental and choir. Adjudicators provide balanced assessment of performances through constructive criticism and demonstration of supplemental feedback from regular instructors. Performers from large surrounding area participate in the festival. There were no new programs in 2024
