Victoria Hand Project

We work with clinicians in developing countries and low-income communities to provide prothetic arms to poor amputees. We provide the clinicians with training in 3d printing and 3d scanning allowing them to make the custom protgetic arms in their own clinics. The clinicians are provided a fee for each prothetic arm that they make and fit to amputees. The recipients of the prosthetic arm are not charged by the victoria hand project. We currently operate in 8 developing countries and help low-income amputees in canada and the united states. We currently work with the following collaborators: ascent fabrication in saratoga springs new york usa limb care nepal and ability to change together nepal ( nepal) corsu hospital ( uganda) st. Lukes hospital ( kenya) prophy care ( haiti) canadian egyptian hand company ( egypt) range of motion project and lifenabled ( guatemala) agile development group and kampong speu prc ( cambodia) invictus medical techologies ( ukraine. In each country where we work we collaborate with clinician professionals (i.e. Prothetists prosthetic technician and doctors) to fit the prosthetic devide to ensure care is provided in a safe manner. Our team in victoria canada designs develops and tests the prosthetic devides. When the designs are tested to be safe and effective they will be sent to our collaborators in low-income communities. Victoria hand project did not have any new expansions to regions or countries. However victoria hand project did conduct a pilot project in rwanda in 2024 to help set the foundation for a future expansion
