Information & referral - a useful point of contact for individuals looking for information about disability-related supports and programs both locally and provincially. Also delivers a weekly workshop on applying for provincial disability benefits. 2. Peer support - provides one-to-one and group support for people looking to connect with others who also face barriers in the community. Train people to be peer supporters. 3. Volunteer skills development - offers a wide range of opportunities for individuals to develop valuable skills and practices that many prospective employers look for in job applicants. Volunteers contribute over 500 hours of their time a year!. 4. Lived experiences around disability (lead) - delivers innovative presentations about what it is like to live with a disability to students (k-12) in victoria. This program is delivered by persons with disabilites. Speakers work in partnership with students with disabilites at each school giving the students an opportunity to anonymously (via the speaker) or personally share what they have experienced at the school in terms of social and environmental barriers. 5. Disability inclusion & awareness training - delivered by persons with disabilities who have lived experience. Also known as anti-ableism training. 6. Parking placards - issue accessible parking placards that allows persons with disabilities to park in designated accessible parking spaces. No new programs
