Victoria Conservatory of Music

1. Community School: Quality private and group teaching for all ages and abilities in the areas of classical and contemporary music as well as music technology. 2. Postsecondary School: Certification/Diploma programs both through VCM and in partnership with Camosun College. 3. Music Therapy: Using music as a therapeutic tool to help those with mental physical or emotional challenges in-house and travelling to care homes on Vancouver Island. 4. Performance: Concerts by students faculty and visiting artists in three performance halls/theatres (including the 1890s heritage-designated Alix Goolden Performance Hall). 5. Collegium: Provision of an enriched curriculum for talented and motivated teenage classical musicians. 6. Children's Music Education Outreach: Children's music group instruction delivered in day cares/schools/centres in Greater Victoria including many free programs. 7. Summer Intensive Programs: Compressed musical programs by local and visiting faculty with performance opportunities.
