1. To advance the public's appreciation of the visual arts by collecting and exhibiting high quality contemporary video and film art. 2. To preserve and promote the development of and excellence in the visual arts industry in canada by facilitating the creation and production of high-quality works by film and video artists. 3. To receive and maintain a fund or funds and to pay or apply all or part of the principal and income therefrom from time to time to 'qualified donees' under the income tax act (canada).
