Vecova Centre for Disability Services and Research

Vecova is a leading edge service and research organization that has been meeting the nees of persons with disabilities and the community at large in calgary and bow valley corridor since 1969. Services are provided through an integrated services model to meet the changing needs of persons with disablities so they may reach their fullest potential and benefit from the highest possible quality of life. A range of supports provided to children youth and adults with disabilities includes: (1) living supports (2) employment services and (3) wellness services. In addition professional supports are provided to persons with disabilities and their support networks. Vecova research services provide support to the sector with design for real-life solutions for pressing social concerns within our communities. Vecova also operates a recreation center providing a barrier free and inclusive facility supporting physical and social well being; and operates social enterprises that employs persons with disablities
