COUNSELLING PROGRAMS *COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH OUTREACH - This program assists children youth and families with mild to moderate mental emotional and behavioural challenges. *PEACE Program ( Prevention Education Advocacy Counselling & Empowerment) - Group and individual counselling services for children whose families are experiencing relationship challenges and conflict. *FAMILY COUNSELLING Program - This program works with children youth and families to promote and encourage the development of healthy relationships between family members. *SEXUAL ABUSE INTERVENTION Program - Counselling for children and youth under 19 years of age who have experienced sexual abuse and related trauma *STOPPING THE VIOLENCE COUNSELLING - Support for Women - Individual and Group Counselling for women who are experiencing or have experienced abuse. *COMMUNITY COUNSELLING - Free counselling to people when existing community supports do not meet their needs. This program is provided by counselling staff and practicum students with oversight by our onsite clinical supervisor. *THE HUB - This program is a unique collaboration between School District 8 and community service providers designed to meet students needs. The HUB offers high school students age 13-18 years old a safe environment to access academic support medical services mental health and substance use supports from school and community professionals. EARLY YEARS PROGRAM *FAMILY PLACE NEIGHBOURHOOD HOUSE - Dots to Tots Program - East Kootenay Community Action Program for Children - Infant Development Program - Creston Valley Early Years - Strong Start OUTREACH PROGRAMS - Wraparound Program - Reconnect - Supervised & Supportive Visitation SENIORS PROGRAMS * BETTER AT HOME Program - provincial program helping seniors with simple non-medical day-to-day tasks so that they can continue to live independently in their own homes and remain connected to their communities. * DAY BREAK Program - nutritional meals and support
