Valley After the Bell Society

As stated in our incorporation document: 'on a volunteer and non-profit basis the objective of the society is to provide food for school aged children in the annapolis valley. It is further described in our mission statement as follows: 'to respectfully provide local school children who are experiencing food insecurities with a bag of food to take home on weekends through the school year.' as our goal statement puts it our goal it 'to reduce hunger and help our students thrive achieving their potential for learning as young citizens of our community.' at the end of the fiscal period the charity was preparing an average of 125 bags per week for children attending eight local schools.
