We provide: vocational technical and professional training to student and community volunteers through 'hands-on' training and mentoring in radio broadcasting programming and management; opportunities and development programs for student and community volunteers to learn about and participate in radio-related activities and workshops; facilities and resources for training student and community volunteers in radio broadcasting and programming and in radio station operation and management; education and increase the public's appreciation of alternative radio-programming by promoting the cultural social and/or ethnic diversity of canadian society and by promoting new independent and alternative artists; a medium for the enjoyment and appreciation of alternative music drama and news programming and of culturally socially and/or ethnically diverse programming; access to the radio air-waves for culturally socially and/or ethnically disadvantaged communities and independent artists
