United Way of Thunder Bay

United way provides funding to several charitable organizations that provide human care services in these areas of service: counselling poverty & hunger children and youth services volunteer support rehabilitation/recreation crisis & emergency services services for seniors public safety & crime prevention community education & health awareness 211-community information referral services neighbourhood capacity development support the charitable sector. We also provide support to the charitable sector by facilitating the collection and distribution of donor directed contributions to many registered charitable organizations. United way also provides direct community service by participating in and/or facilitating discussions among local organizations to promote the enhancement and expansion of social services in the community.
