United Way of Northwest Territories

The organization raises money and allocates the funds to local community charities and non-profits to support the poor disadvantaged youth and other organizations throughout the nwt to build stronger communities. Funds are raised through workplace payroll programs individual donations and fundraising activities. 2024 was an unusual year as we saw a large wildfire relief campaign. The wildfire campaign helped with evacuation expenses for many groups in many communities as well as with recovery in nwt communities after the wildfires.
