United Way of Colchester County

Bikes for kids-collect gently-used bicycles from community donors; bikes are refurbished by volunteers; distributed for children in need back to school-through donations from the business community and individuals new back packs with starter kits of school supplies are distributed throughout the county funding streams: various grants are distributed to qualifying agencies for programming and service support; agencies must demonstrate fiscal responsibility and services matched to united way's mandate of reducing poverty helping kids be all they can be and building healthy communities. No new programs in this fiscal year.
