Umoja Community Mosaic

The organization provides various support for children and youth from low-income families for disadvantage and at-risk children as well as providing mediation counselling and mentorship for disadvantaged and at-risk children and youth. The organization also provides culturally relevant food security programs to newcomers and at-risk youth and their families as well as provides community participation to combat racism promote gender equality and facilitate integration for newcomers and build networks of natural supports for diverse community members. The organization has started a new program in rwanda. The project helps to develop the community and includes creation of a community center with educational and recreational facilities.
