U-R Home Awareness & Support Services

U-r home’s volunteers work to provide hope support and encouragement to those who have been impacted by human trafficking. They provide care bags filled with toiletries clothing gift cards and other personal items to ensure that those who are exciting a trafficking situation have the supplies they need in the days and weeks after exiting. In addition u-r home provides transitional care kits containing gift card with a value of up to $500 to help survivors who are taking steps towards healing and self – sustainability. Both care bags and kits are distributed through direct service agencies who work closely with women who are working on leaving a trafficked situation. U-r home also works to raise awareness and educate the community on the reality of human trafficking in york region. The operations discontinued at the end of the 2023 fiscal year therefore u-r home did not carry out fundraising activities or charitable programs this fiscal year. The remaining funds were gifted to other charitable organizations
