Maintain grounds known as john e. Pearce provincial park. Provide nature trails for hiking with attractions labelled along trails. Ongoing restoration of backus-page house (circa 1850's) within park. Several 'new' pieces acquired to accessorize and furnish house in period. Ongoing resotration of barn for preserving agricultural history of the area. Maintinaing period gardens and grounds. Hundreds of children attend education day where they experience pioneer life and the war of 1812. Adventure day camp gives children age 6-10 a look at life during the 1820's. Victorian tea in june is held. Annual heritage farm show in the fall. 1850's christmas dinner in december. Online blogging facebook twitter and website to engage audiences. Open for 2 weeks in november/december during the area's home for christmas event. Periodic changes to room exhibits.
