Tryzub Ukrainian Dance Society

Tryzub ukrainian dance society preserves promotes and provides quality instruction in ukrainian dance and shares this dynamic aspect of ukrainian culture with audiences at home and abroad. The organization fosters the development and professional growth of individuals through the creative expression of dance and retains its strength through active involvement by the membership alumni and volunteers. During the year the ensemble and jr tryzub dancers performed in many events in honour of those fighting in the current russia- ukraine war. This included our 'glory to ukraine' entry in the calgary stampede parade. The society also sponsors the trysub school of ukrainian dance which taught dance to 117 children and 33 adults this year. Tryzub operates 6 days a week. The ensemble includes or is made up of 25 dancers.
