Tri-Cities Off Road Cycling Association

Through the efforts of its volunteers and in conjunction with the support of its members corporate sponsors as well as corporate and municipal grants TORCA has continued its efforts of planning designing constructing and maintaining trails in the Tri-Cities Area. In support of those programs TORCA continues meeting with landowners and stakeholders including the Village of Anmore City of Port Moody City of Coquitlam Parks BC Recreation Sites and Trails of BC Local First Nations Wesbild Holdings Ltd. to name a few as well as other local user groups. TORCA received donation funding that was to be directed towards youth-specific programming. During the year those funds were allocated in part towards the hiring of youth as part of a 'summer trail crew' to work on trail construction and maintenance projects under the direction of other experienced trail builders. Additional a portion of the funding was allocated towards a small number of youth-centered events.
