To receive and maintain a fund or funds and to apply all or parts of the principal and income therefrom from time to time to qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1 of the income tax act (canada) to be used for the maintenance and advancement of the jewish language culture and history. To advance the public's knowledge and appreciation of the yiddish language and jewish arts culture and history by organization performances and cultural events open to the public including film screenings concerts dramatic readings and lectures.
