Toronto Beach Chorale

Toronto beach chorale provides the toronto beach area and its neighboring communities in the east end of toronto with the opportunity to perform and/or hear quality classical music performed by an amateur choir accompanied by professional musicians. We hold regular scheduled rehearsals to prepare for concerts. We provide weekly instructions in singing and choral techniques by engaging a professional choral conductor as our musical director; membership is available to anyone after a placement audition. We produce 3 quality concerts a year for the community drawing a wide selection of repertoire. We also provide free concert for clients of united way at christmas time called 'messiah for the city' in partnership with the toronto symphony orchestra. Wo also perform for local community events parades exhibitions and educational forums. We support and work with other local artistic programs in joint ventures. We provide music theory training for our members to promote musical capacity. We distribute free concert tickets to disadvantaged individuals such as senior and youth through local community centres and agencies.
