Toronto Bach Festival

Our charitable mission is to produce an annual festival that illuminates the creative genius of baroque composer Johann Sebastian Bach by engaging informing and inspiring the general public. Our primary activity is the production of a live festival annually generally occurring at the end of May. Our public offerings at the festival consists mainly of concerts and lectures but we also offer pre-concert chats and open dress rehearsals to provide insight and interpretation of our performances. We also produce an online educational series called Discover Bach. This series of videos provides insight into various specific aspects of Bach’s music and serves to engage our audience outside of our performances as well as to generate interest for members of the general public outside of our core audience. In addition we continued the Artistic Director’s blog which continues to delve into a new topic with each issue.
