Torchlight Services advocates for promotes and facilitates the full participation inclusion and empowerment of people who have developmental disabilities within the community. The objectives of our programs are to facilitate the inclusion integration and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities. We provide opportunities to learn and expand on life and independence skills through recreation education and volunteer experiences on site and within the community. Our participants gain a sense of accomplishment learn stay safe and are treated with equality and fairness. Torchlight also offers the Ignite Social Enterprise Program. The Ignite program celebrates our participants’ independence by engaging them in supervised non-traditional vocational opportunities. Individuals cultivate skills confidence and experience while working collaboratively on projects with their peers. Profits are shared as their projects are sold in the community. All of our programs are inclusive and non-judgmental and provide an entertaining and engaging way for people with disabilities to build up their sense of community and belonging.
