About Today's Innovative Music Edmonton (t.I.M.E.) Association
Formed in April 2002 the mandate of Today's Innovative Music Edmonton (T.I.M.E.) is to provide the highest level of musical training in contemporary vocal music genres. Music technology and innovation is also a prime focus of the organization. T.I.M.E. is one of the few community organizations in Canada with a focus on contemporary vocal music for small ensembles. Both jazz groups (FORM and NufSed) held regular rehearsals and participated in a weekend retreat in January 2024 at Camp Nakamun with clinicians Suba Sandaran and Dylan Bell. NufSed worked with Heather Bambrick in March 2024 at the CADME Festival in Calgary. Both groups worked with Greg Jasperse at the Cantando Edmonton Festival. Three concerts were held during the 2023-24 season--two in Muttart Hall at MacEwan University and the final one in June at the Yardbird Suite jazz venue where TIME's groups were joined by the McNally High School Jazz Choir.
