Thousand Faces Festival Association

The program provided by the society is its namesake: the Thousand Faces festival. In late June of every year we bring multicultural multidisciplinary artists together with culturally and economically diverse audiences for a festival of performance and participatory workshops that bring the public together to explore and enjoy the mythic stories and art forms at the foundations of the world’s diverse cultures. The festival has developed long-term relationships with several accomplished artists from under represented communities who taken together make up an ecosystem of art and myth. The festival puts a premium on accessibility and no one is refused to entry to an event because they cannot pay. The dance Theatre Music and spoken word offered at the festival often evolves into significant artistic expressions shared beyond the festival.
