The charity is a grass roots theatre troupe that presents performances on social justice themes. The charity also gives educations workshops on writing performing and on social justice issues. The charity works at the Grand Valley Institute prison for women teaching acting skills and personal development to inmates. Theatre of the Beat produced the Emerging Producers Festival in 2024 which will become an annual offering.
