The Wolfville Historical Society

The society owns and maintains randall house museum which dates from c. 1812. We operate it as a seasonal museum open to the public from june to october. We collect conserve and store artifacts from the local area which we use to create exhibits each season. We interpret the house rooms contents and the garden. We employ a professional curator part time and at least one museum assistant during the open period. There is a small shop offering books cards crafts and other articles having a historical theme. We maintain an archives of documents and photographs available to the public. We are planning new programs to augment activities and exhibits of the museum and into appropritae sites within the community.
