The Walrus Foundation publishes independent fact-based journalism fiction and art in The Walrus magazine and at thewalrus.ca. The Walrus stories present a variety of perspectives on the most complex issues of our time focusing on six key content areas: politics & world affairs health & science law & social justice the environment business & economics and arts & culture. The Walrus Foundation also produces national ideas-focused events (in-person and virtually) including The Walrus Talks and The Walrus Leadership Dinners which bring people together to discuss matters vital to Canadians. Finally The Walrus Foundation trains emerging professionals in publishing and non-profit management.
