To receive gifts bequests funds and property and to hold invest administer and distribute funds and property to such other organizations as are 'qualified donees' under the provisions of the income tax act (canada) - to provide emergency financial assistance and material relief including food clean water medical supplies clothing and/or shelter to victims of natural disasters and sudden catastrophes. - to relieve poverty and suffering arising from serious injury or illness by providing financial assistance to impoverished individuals and families - to do such other things as are incidental and ancillary to the attainment of the foregoing purposes and the exercise of the powers of the society.
