The Toronto Military Family Resource Centre

Toronto MFRC supports military and Veteran families residing throughout the GTA by providing the following types of services: - Information and Awareness: services that welcome new families and support community integration that provide information and education on resources and services that address the challenges of the military lifestyle - Navigational Support: family needs assessment tailored support coaching assistance and service referral for families navigating specific challenges of the military lifestyle including relocations absences and transitions - Intervention Services: crisis support and referral emergency family care assistance brief counselling interventions for families - Mental Health Services and supports provided by the Family Liaison Officer in conjunction with the CAF TC specific to families of ill and injured transitioning members and Families of the Fallen - Veteran Family Program: transition support information and referral services for medically releasing members and their families - Child Care Services: full time licenced child care services and referral to emergency child care services
