The Synod of the Diocese of Calgary

Providing administrative liturgical pastoral and strategic oversight for the approximately 70 anglican congregations within the boundaries of the diocese (i.e.southern alberta). Operating ministry programs such as resettlement assistance for refugees under a sponsorship agreement with the federal government. Donating funds to the denominational national and provincial offices and providing funds to certain congregations within the diocese for various specified or unspecified purposes.
