The Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'Is of North Vancouver

Holding regular community gatherings for spiritual enrichment administrative consultation and fellowship: 19-Day Feasts and Baha'i Holy Days. Involving between 20 and 80 community members and friends. - Holding devotional public gatherings for spiritual enrichment and study of Baha’i-based uplifting material focused on practicing moral behaviour and building unified cooperative communities. Involving a total of approximately 50 community members and friends. - Providing weekly English language classes and auxiliary social/study gatherings for new Canadians newly arrived immigrants and visitors to Canada in collaboration with local libraries: Two online and three in person gatherings; Involving a total of approximately 100 participants and eight community members. - Supporting weekly gatherings for mothers and toddlers. Involving approximately 10-12 mothers and toddlers. - Occasional community service projects to support local food banks. Involving the whole community and some participants from the English classes. - Holding regular meetings of the elected local administrative body the Local Spiritual Assembly. A membership of nine. - Gatherings are held in members’ homes occasional rented venues and local libraries. - Providing financial support to the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Canada (associated charity) for its programs through voluntary contributions from local community members. (There is no solicitation or acceptance of financial contributions from unregistered members of the Baha’i community.)
