The Royal Canadian Theatre Company

The royal canadian theatre company offers live theatre productions in various locations across the lower mainland bc. Activities include offering various programs for youth including our annual free theatre mentorship program drama camps and improv classes. We are the first and only company in the lower mainland area (outside of the city of vancouver) to offer relaxed performances which consist of specially adapted performances for audiences with intellectual and/or other disabilities. Our mandate: - an inclusive safe respectful creative environment for artists at all stages of the development. - specialized youth programs - affordable ticket prices making live theatre accessible - free mentorship with a special emphasis on youth - professional and semi-professional theatre with preference of engagement to local artists - creation of a new original work annually - programming for our demographic - high production values - attracting new theatre goers plus providing for the more experienced - excellence in all operations the 2023/2024 show season included three live theatre productions one dinner theatre production musical theatre classes and our annual youth mentorship program.
