Promote astronomy and the allied sciences to the public. Provide public monthly meetings and access to our observatory. Participate in public events such as earth day international astronomy day and canada day to provide the public safe day-time solar viewing night sky viewing and education on the universe. Conduct classroom astronomy programs to assist educators to teach astronomy to students. Partner with province and other astronomy clubs to present the annual saskatchewan summer star party at cypress hills inter-provincial park. Provide advocacy education and awareness of light polution and development of dark sky preserves.
