St. Gregory's church provides a place of worship with regular church services. It serves the religious and social needs of the community. The parish st. Vincent de paul ministry issues food and clothing vouchers to the needy in prince edward county. Food is also collected throughout the year of the community food bank and winter clothing is collected in the fall and winter months. There is a junior liturgy group who assist the junior members of the parish experience and learn about the catholic faith. The following are various other ministries at st. Gregory's parish that provide community services: pastoral outreach : volunteers visits parishioners in hospital nursing homes and retirement homes as well as visits to homebount parishioners. A volunteer brings prayers and communion when/where needed. Youth ministry: to assist in preparing children for baptism first holy communion and confirmation. The minister serves as a liaison for the church and school. Right of christian initiation of adults ( rcia): the rcia is the way that a non-baptized person is brought into a full communion with the catholic church. Volunteers provide the ritual actions for all the stages in initiation from baptism to the first holy communion to confirmation
