The Robb Nash Project (TRNP) is a powerful bridge connecting those struggling with mental health challenges to the help and support they need. TRNP creates impactful student experiences that address mental health through dynamic mental wellness focussed concert presentations reaching audiences across large venues schools reserves and detention centers throughout Canada. Alongside these performances TRNP also offers a comprehensive mental wellness in-school program for youth. TRNP’s immersive concert experience engages students in grades 7-12 combining music and storytelling to tackle pressing mental health issues with a balance of humor and hope. The program sparks vital conversations about mental health encouraging young people to seek support from trusted sources make positive life choices and live lives full of purpose and significance. Topics such as anxiety depression addiction self-harm and suicidal thoughts are discussed openly yet always with a focus on empowerment resilience and stories of hope. Through 'A Living Curriculum' – Stories of Life Through Darkness TRNP has developed a proven module-based mental wellness program available in both English and French. This in-school program led in-class by educators and counselors empowers youth to speak openly about their mental health and encourages them to shift from a mindset of hopelessness to one of helping others and creating positive change. It is being implemented in schools and youth organizations across Canada offering support to both students and the educators guiding them through their mental health journeys. The in-school program utilizes music storytelling and journaling as key tools to help youth understand and navigate their mental health.
