Providing equipment and services for the pas health complex facilities of the northern health region authority which are not funded by other agencies; provided some funding for professional development for nursing staff; retention and recruitment of physicians; baby friendly hospital; new or equipment; new beds and sleep surfaces for personal care home; upgraded er dialysis and chemo equipment; purchased fully modern bassinettes for maternity and obstetrics wards; purchasing orthopedic surgical equipment investigating possibility of palliative care hospice; investigating possibility of clinic with residency opportunity for family physicians in the pas; establishing additional hospital palliative care unit; purchasing upgraded equipment for dialysis ward purchasing vein finders for all units purchasing upgraded orthopedic surgical equipment for or to retain and recruit surgeons; purchasing all new leather recliner beds and beside tables for chemo unit.
