Thousand Year Theatre created by Kendra Fanconi is a featured exhibit at the Rewilding installation at Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa from October 11 2024 to September 8 2025 ? Etuaptmumk/Two-Eyed Seeing - Phase Two: by Rosemary Georgeson and Lara Aysal a documentary video series with Indigenous knowledge holders and youth sharing perspectives on climate; Yellow House Arts Centre Galiano (Sept 2025) ? Irresistible Worlds: a national education initiative on the role of the artist in society during the climate crisis. 40 artists 8 facilitators over 3 days In partnership with National Arts Centre Canadian Climate Challenge Mass Culture and Metcalf Foundation. ? Slow Socials: an ongoing series of gatherings that invite communities to connect through relaxed textile creation environmental sound/music and conversation. Participants learn natural dyeing techniques and using simple rope aka ‘cordage’ from natural fibres including fabric scraps and garden waste. ? Autumn Winter Spring Summer (AWSS): a growing audio and textile installation inspired by seasonal colour predictions for the autumn-winter and spring-summer seasons. • Slow Socials: Around Sound: Centered around artist talks with Q & A’s and open discussion with composer/performers produced in partnership with Music on Main. • Listening in Relation: A research project in collaboration with educator Julie Andreyev alongside faculty and students at Emily Carr University and the Canadian Ass’n for Sound Ecology to explore how listening sound-making and land-based material art practices can help foster care for more-than-human lifeworlds.
