The New Marine Centre Society

The society creates vibrant experiences that inspiree learning exploration and protection of the unique salish sea bioregion. These offerings range from live animal exhibits and interactive and hands-on activities to facilitated programming lectures events displays community outreach and showcasing of featured products and artists in our regionally focused salish sea store. Seasonally school-based curriculum linked programs and summer camps focused on science and ocean conservation are also offered. We provide extensive volunteer opportunities for all ages ranging from youth and university students to seniors. These unique volunteer experiences enhance the visitor experience and support animal care needs.
