The National Trail Association of Canada

Working with provincial hiking associations in developing sections of the national hiking trail in various locations across canada. As well acting as an advocacy organization for national hiking issues and promoting the national hiking trail a new program was introduced in november 2023 called the national hiker award program. In the first year there were 52 participants in the program. There were two levels introduced the first year with a third to be released in 2024-25. A very successful first start to the program.
