The Muslim Society of North Bay

We have no ongoing programs. All our funds for our expenses are donated by our local members. During our holy month of Ramadhan we do have nightly prayer program and a pot luck supper every Saturday. On Sundays at 1pm we have children classes of religious studies and to learn the Arabic Language. On Friday evenings we have group discussions of the Quaran and the stories of the prophet. We do not have any new programs. We do not advertise or canvas. Our entire donations are from word of mouth and regular and irregular donations. Our immediate goal is to raise approximately One Thousand Dollars per month so that we can pay our operating expenses. Our long term goal is to purchase our existing building. Presently we have around forty international students. A lot of them will donate small amounts monthly averaging around twenty dollars.
