The Monastery of Mount Carmel

The monastery of mount carmel welcomes people of all faith traditions who seek spiritual growth and personal enrichment. We honour the individual and respect diversity. In the carmelite spiritual tradition of hospitality we endeavour to provide a sacred space enhanced by the beauties of creation where one may encounter god. The monastery of mount carmel supports the education of those pursing vocations to the priesthood and religious life; the monastery of mount carmel offers spiritual direction and devotions for roman catholics such as daily celebration of mass; religious retreats; workshops for reflection and meditation; and outreach programs for the community such as prayer hotline emotions anonymous and separated and divorced ministry. The monastery of mount carmel is home to the shrine of st. Therese. The monastery also houses sacred artifacts that are unique to the monastery and are on display to enhance the spiritual growth of our visitors.
