(a) to receive and maintain a fund or funds and to apply all or part of the principal and income therefrom from time to time to qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1(1) of the income tax act (canada); and (b) to do all such things as are ancillary and incidental to the attainment of the above objects and in particular; (1) to employ and remunerate workers consultants administrative staff and other people and to retain legal counsel accountants and auditors as may be required for the purposes aforesaid; (2) to receive and maintain endowments on the terms and conditions established by the donor including receiving property or cash received subject to a trust or direction to the effect that the property given or property substituted therefor is to be held for a period of not less than 10 years; (3) to invest any funds of the society not immediately required for any of its objects in such manner or on such security as may from time to time be determined by the directors of the society to by advisable and the directors shall not be limited to making investments in which trustees are authorized to invest by law; (4) to undertake lexecute and perform any charitable trusts which may lawfully be undertaken by the society and may be conducive to its purposes; (5) to solicit receive and accept financial assistance donations endowments gifts (both inter vivos and testamentary) devises bequests and loans of money rents hereditaments and other property whatsoever real or personal and subject or not to any specific charitable trusts or conditions.
