The foundation's principal goal is to create an enduring fund for the betterment of canadian society. This weill be achieved by gathering funds and growing them through responsible investment. Proceeds will be distributed to charities which further the foundation's goals. Supported charities will be in areas including: welfare and social programs environmental causes children's programs disaster relief health education gender equity diversity and inclusion
