The Macville Charitable Foundation

The Macville Charitable Foundation was active for over 20 years. It was capitalized by its founder and CEO Ian Dube. During its 20 year existence the Foundation gave funds to Vancouver Island Colleges and Universities to enable their foundations to award 36 full annual tuition awards to full-time undergraduate students. During its existence the foundation did not issue tax receipts for charitable donations. Its expenses were largely bank service charges. The Foundation did not claim expenses for management fund-raising transportation rent phones meals entertainment or any typical foundation expenses. After 20 years of charitable giving the Foundation has wound up its activities. The Foundation's achievements vastly exceeded expectations. Its CEO and Board Members are looking forward to enjoying their retirement.
