Organize conversation circles; field trips for newcomers and volunteers; offer full settlement support to immigrants; accommodate refugees for temporary stay plus provide initial orientation to Canadian society; provide life skills training; match volunteer families with newcomer families; provide language assessment to newcomers; employment support and job search skill workshop for newcomers; provide referrals counselling orientation and documentation translations as well as community education diversity training and global education resources development; organize community support services for refugees with trauma and health problems; provide referral and support information to newcomer students and families with school and libraries.
