The Laurel Foundation

The laurel foundation funds facilities and promotes services programs and activities for the care treatment education habilitation and rehabilitation of persons with autism spectrum disorders or whose behaviour is autistic like or who have mental health disorders and behavioural challenges; to enable them and their families to function to their maximum potential within their community. The foundation collaborates closely with reputable researchers educational institutions and community resources to advance research and program development for people on the autism spectrum and with bipolar disorder. The foundation's major project is the 'laurel autism family project' which is a web application to assist parents of children with autism in finding effective treatments and programs.
