The Kidsafe Project Society

(1) kidsafe supports over 750 children annually at 7 school-based sites in vancouver. We welcome children reffered as vulnerable ages 5-13 for no cost to families. Programs include nutritious meals guests and activities field trips pick -up/drop-off service developmental & academic support and connection to community resources. (2) kidsafe connect is our after-school program supporting social connections among kids between break-time programming. It offers several fun classes for kids such as art cooking nutrition and a learning club with healthy snacks and a variety of food for kids & families to take home. This program runs at 3 of our sites october 2023 to june 2024. (3)young leaders: the senior kids (grades 5-7) participate during summer break. They have opportunities to go on exciting out trips access experiences and fun adventures aimed for this age group. They have smaller group sessions to discuss and reflect on the experiences and learning they have from these events. We ensure opportunities for personal development. No new programs this year.
